your mind is blank.
You were on the ground. You blinked. A hand was in front of your face. You looked up. It belonged to a man with blond hair that looked near platinum. He was tall. He had a very thick coat and a scarf, naturally--you were in Russia, not like you'd be wearing shorts. The strangest thing about him though were his..
"Purple eyes?" You said aloud, your brow furrowed in confusion. What an oddity--only one person in all of history1, that you knew of--"Well, recorded history," You mentally corrected herself--Had purple eyes. Hm.
The man smiled. "Da, purple," He said, his accent thick. "I take it you do not speak Russian, then?" He asked.
You nodded, then shook your head, then did a sort of half-nod, unsure now, and made a very confused face. "Yeah--er, no--wait, actually, yes, I mean, yes, I don't speak Russian," You finally managed to get out.
He laughed. "Your English is funny as well!" He said. You blushed.
"Erm--"
you're gone.
The man was waving a hand in front of your face. "Hello? Funny girl?" He asked. You blinked at him.
"Huh?"
"You didn't answer me," He said.
"I'm sorry, what did you ask?" You asked, your face becoming an even deeper shade of red. You had completely missed his question.
"Your name," He repeated.
"Oh, uhm, I'm ____ ____, but just call me ____, please," You said. "And yourself--what's your name?"
"Okay, ____, I am Ivan Braginsky," He smiled.
but you haven't left.
"___!" Ivan was shaking you. You looked at him with a frown.
"I-I'm sorry, I just, uh, sometimes, I--"
"You are strange girl, da?"
You sighed. "You could say that."

"Beautiful, net? It is called 'Sobor Vasiliya Blazhennogo'2, but I think the countries of the English language call it 'Saint Basil's Cathedral'," He explained as he showed you a beautiful cathedral. It was so much the colors that stood out, but the textures and the structure itself. It showcased the scales of fish and serpents and the feathers of birds, all painted in reds, blues, greens, golds--It was amazing. It had towers and domes that were in a chaotic symmetry all within itself creating a look that time could not touch.
"I--uhm--yeah, wow," You mumbled out. You couldn't really think of anything else to say. Ivan just chuckled.

"Did you hear me?"
"What?" You asked. Christ, you missed something again. Keep it together!
"I was explaining why it was built, but is not important. Something you can read in books. There are many more things to see!" He said with a smile, walking and gesturing for you to follow along. You took a deep breath, nodded, and followed.
Like he said, there were many things to see. Not only beautiful things, but simple things--like a small house built with vernacular architecture--and tragic things, like sites from the Livonian War.3

You continued walking, but shook your head, trying to clear it. Did you forget your medicine? No, you were sure you had taken it. You don't take risks like that, even if they are absence. Maybe it was something you had eaten, or maybe it was the change of scenery.4
"What is wrong?" Ivan asked, stopping so you could catch up.
"Headache," You smiled. "It's not bad, though. Don't worry about it."
He nodded. "If you say so," He replied with a smile.

You furrowed your brow. Ivan's hand was on your arm and his expression was confused--Guilty? Sorry? Sad? You couldn't put your finger on it. "Sorry, I--"
He cut you off. "You don't need to apologize," He said simply. You laughed, but it was only because of nerves. Nothing was funny.

"Do you know who I am?" Ivan asked. He was looking down at you. You were cold. Your head hurt. Your back hurt. Your tongue hurt. Everything hurt. Why?
"Of course I know who you are," Is what you would've said, if you could open your mouth. Why couldn't you open your mouth? Why wouldn't your body listen to you? Speak, dammit!
"___? Do you know who I am?" He asked again. You nodded. "Are you hurt?" Was his second question.
You pointed to your head, your back, your ankle, your ribs, and your mouth. He sighed.
"There is an ambulance on the way. It should be here any second."
You frowned. You still couldn't really process things, but heard the ambulance in the distance.
"I hope you are okay," Ivan said with a smile. The ambulance arrived.
Two people rushed out with a white stretcher. You hated those. They lifted you up onto it and strapped you down. You let your head fall back onto the pillow as they rolled the bed into the back of the ambulance. You closed your eyes and heaved a sigh.
ENOUGH. PLEASE.

"Ma'am? Do you know what happened?" The man sitting in the back with you asked. He was obviously a native English speaker.
You blinked slowly at him before shaking your head in response.
"You've had a TC seizure."5

Hetalia X Suicidal!Reader: Farewell......
The pen in your hand burned. Just holding it in your shaking grasp caused intense pain and discomfort. But what else was new? This feeling was something that had made itself a home in your daily life. It left you broken, beat, tired, and depressed. If there had been any bit of light left in your dark hole of self hate, it would have been your friends. But it was unnecessary to cause them any trouble. Surely they would move on eventually, you were not something to be dwelled on after all.
The pen kissed the paper and danced along the blurry lines. Your writing came out a bit shaky, but what else to be expected? It was readable, and t

STAAAAAAARE~
"It's impolite to stare, poppet." Oliver's voice pulled you from your thoughts. He was looking at you and smirking slightly, with a tiny blush.
"Oh, s-sorry Ollie!" you looked down blushing lightly. You had been staring at him for almost the entire world meeting. There was something off about the man today, and you just couldn't quite grasp what it was. Although, it was kind of difficult to concentrate on what was different about him when you kept getting caught up in his looks. Yes, you had a huge crush on h

AT LEAST READ THE BOTTOM TWO. IT WILL HELP YOU UNDERSTAND THE STORY. Maybe.
[1] Elizabeth Taylor supposedly had purple eyes. She was the only one ever to have had such a thing--that we know of. There were, and still are, many disputes about whether her eyes really were purple or not. Many people say they were just dark blue that looked purple in certain light, or with certain make-up. Many say she had a specific amount of melanin that made her eye color naturally violet. This number is roughly the same as a person with blue eyes, which helps explain the fact that her eyes looked blue sometimes (eye color 'changes' because of shirt color, light, make up, etc.).
Whether you think she really did have violet eyes or not, Elizabeth Taylor will remain famous for her eyes, acting, and love of expensive jewlery.
[2] St. Basil's Cathedral is located in Moscow, Russia. It was commissioned by Ivan the Terrible in the 16th century and was originally called Cathedral of the Intercession of the Virgin by the Moat. It was built to commemorate a military victory (the capture of the Tartar stronghold of Kazan in 1552). The name St. Basil's Cathedral comes from St. Basil the Blessed or St. Basil Fool for Christ (1468-1552), who had impressed Ivan the Terrible by predicting a fire that swept through Moscow in 1547. St. Basil was buried in the Trinity Cathedral (which stood there at that time). Years later (1588, 28 years after construction of St. Basil's Cathedral was completed), a ninth chapel was added to house St. Basil's tomb.
There's much more to this, this was just a quick summary of things (not even--basically just to say where the name came from, I guess).
[3] The Livonian War was a war in which Russia fought against Poland, Lithuania and Sweden for control of greater Livonia (an area ruled by the Teutonic Knights). This happened between 1558-1583.
[4] Absence Seizures are seizures that cause a period of 'blanking out'. They are sometimes referred to as petit mal seizures. There are two types of absence seizures:
- simple absence: these are often confused with just daydreaming or not paying attention and are often hard to catch and diagnose. During these, a person usually just stares off for less than 10 seconds.
- complex absence: in addition to staring off, a person will make a motion/movement or sound, such as blinking, chewing, hand gestures (for movement), or a squeak or 'peep' (sound). These can last up to twenty seconds.
[5] TC Seizures or Tonic-Clonic Seizures are what most people think of when they hear the word 'seizure'. They are convulsive seizures and usually last 1 to 3 minutes. Sometimes referred to as grand mal seizures. People who have TC seizures can have another type of seizure as well (like absence). During TC seizures, a person first goes through the tonic stage in which all muscles stiffen. This may cause a cry or groan because of the air forced past the vocal cords and may cause the person to become blue in the face. The tongue or cheek may also be bitten so there might also be bloody saliva. Next is the clonic phase, during which rapid, rhythmic jerking occurs, usually with the arms and legs. Depending on the severity of the seizure, a person may lose bladder or bowel control (this would occur as the body relaxes).
Any seizure lasting 5 minutes or over needs medical help. Any seizure 10 minutes or three seizures without a normal period in between, indicates a dangerous condition called convulsive status epilepticus, is an emergency.
